The No. 1 University of Connecticut women’s basketball team was well represented when the 2011 Major Awards were announced by the BIG EAST at a press conference. Bria Hartley (PGC grad 2010) earned Freshman of the Year honors. Hartley becomes the 11th Husky to be named BIG EAST Rookie of the Year.

PGC Basketball Grads on 2010-2011 Naismith Trophy Midseason List
The Atlanta Tipoff Club’s Board of Selectors announced the 2010-11 Naismith Award midseason list. The top 30 women’s basketball players are on the list. Player selection is based on performances from the 2010-11 basketball season. The prestigious Naismith Trophy will be awarded on April 4, 2011 during the NCAA Women’s Final Four in Indianapolis.
PGC Grad Bryson Johnson of Bucknell wins Patriot League Hoops Award
After wrapping up the Patriot League regular-season title with road wins at Lafayette and Colgate last week, Bucknell swept the league’s weekly awards on Monday. Sophomore guard Bryson Johnson (PGC grad 2005, 2008) earned his first Anaconda Patriot League Player of the Week Award.
Connecticut Sun Sign PGC Grad, Danielle McCray
The WNBA Connecticut Sun announced today that guard Danielle McCray (Kansas) has been signed to a three-year contract with a team option for a fourth season. As per team policy, no terms were released. McCray is a 2008 graduate of PGC having attended Think The Game.
How to Remember What You Study
Before we get into how to remember what you study, let’s look at how not to do it. Cramming is what most students do. They put off studying till the last possible moment, then go crazy, drink coffee, drink Red Bull or take pills to stay awake, and try to force all sorts of facts and information into their brains on the night before the exam.
