Megan Murphy | Clinton Corners, New York

“I wanted to drop you a note and tell you how impressed I was with every aspect of the program. From your leadership to your instructors, I believe you have made a positive impact both on my son as well as me. I will admit to coming to PGC as a coach and thinking I wouldn’t learn much. I have been to a lot of “camps” in my time and thought this would primarily be good for my son. There are not many times that I think I got more than I paid for, but as far as I am concerned you couldn’t charge enough for the experience we both had. I believe it will change my son’s life as well as my own. I am going to use SCHAPE with all of my teams and we have instituted its principals in my own home!”

Sean O’Neil, Hudson | Hudson, New Hampshire

Any player who wants to have a serious chance to play college basketball—especially at the 'D1' level—needs to attend PGC. Going to PGC is the smartest move you can ever make.

Greg Tudor | West Lafayette, Indiana

Raised Court Awareness
Micah Gatewood expressed how much the camp gave him more options for being in position to score the ball. After the camp he said, “i can not wait to get on the court to use what I learned. He broke down S.C.H.A.P.E when he got into the car and his insights were incredible, especially how he made it relevant to how he could apply it immediately, on and off the court. Lastly, although he hurt his wrist the 2nd day, the PGC Staff used him as a coach for the week. This has lit a fire for coaching inside of Micah and he expressed, “I know I needed to think about life after basketball. I really like coaching and I think this is another option.” He even expressed joining PGC as an intern.
My Kids Attitude is the Best I've Seen in a Long Time!
I'm not sure as to the effectiveness of his game but I can attest to his attitude and character and let me tell you the playmaker college course as well as the coaches have brought out in Caleb what I've seen in him all along. I just didn't have the tools, or whatever Caleb needed, to help him shine like you guys have!! It took PGC one week to do what I've been trying to do for 15 years lol. Thanks to all of you I've got one heck of a kid now. And this is just the beginning. I'm so excited to see what the next course teaches and enhances in my son not only on the court but in everyday life! Thank you PGC you guys rock!
Brought Back Motivation for the Game
It brought back some motivation for the game that had slipped. From the moment he walked in to register and April welcomed him back by name. That lite him up. Great job all around. I hesitate scheduling him for a second camp with a female director but by the middle of the week him wanted to have her again. I knew that she is a highly skilled trainer but I just wanted to make sure he would embrace the training team. Before the was out, i had him scheduled with her again. Thanks PGC for not only teaching basketball but all of the other character building traits that you work to instill. Wes
This Was An Experience Unlike You Will Find Anywhere Else
I spend a lot of time with my players working on the culture of our team and now I realize that I also need to start working with them on the mental side. I loved the classroom sessions and plan to steal all those "dimes" Marke was dropping and use them in my practices. This was the most impressive camp I have ever been a part of and I loved the unique atmosphere of being an observing coach and seeing how someone like Marke coaches. I'm excited to attend a coaching clinic in the future, but this was an experience unlike you will find anywhere else.
Improved by Basketball IQ!
This course has improved my basketball IQ. Being able to read defenses and knowing what strategies to use to score has been the most helpful. Also knowing what to do when you get the ball. Some grab and immediately look to pass, whereas here you must peek. Attacking the paint is also so important and I personally have students of the game that assume, “shooting from the logo” is the coolest move ever and that’s how they will get to the next level to play. Whereas here making the easier bucket is more impressive & having control.
Leadership Content Was Outstanding And Can Be Applied In All Aspects Of Life
This experience allowed me to see different ways of implementing key concepts and skills that players at all levels can use to better their game. Quick mental queues that will allow players to refocus and do what they were taught. the leadership content was outstanding and can be applied in all aspects of life, not just basketball. I will be applying these concepts and manipulating them to fit my professional career.
Unique Skill Development Curriculum
PGC basketball provides a unique skill development curriculum by SCHAPE’ing the environment. This camp provided my daughter a positive, like-minded environment that gave her to old on how to train basic skills, game-based learning experiences, and life lessons. With the completion of her camp she now has the inner fire to improve her game and be a positive influence on and off the court.
Scoring College is my Favorite PGC Camp
Scoring College is probably my favorite PGC camp, so I was pumped when I signed up for this camp. When I got here, I met so many awesome people and instantly connected and became friends. The environment at this camp was so incredibly fun and infectious, with so many great athletes, awesome coaches, and great directors.
Too much walking
I thought Washington University was great, the food was good, but I don’t appreciate the walking.
He Just Keeps Talking About It...
Creighton (11 years old absolutely loved Katie and the entire crew. He could not stop talking about how much he learned this week in camp and how it was one of his favorite camps he had ever attended. After camp concluded we went to a father/son camp in IA City and Creighton Immediately implemented what he had learned.
He Had Fun While Learning!
This was my sons first time attending. Number one he had fun which is key to continuing a sport - you have to love it and that usually means it has to be fun. He felt it was competitive which is something other camps have lacked. He learned a lot in the classroom and was excited to show me his notes.
Better than AAU...
In one week of camp, my son was able to get more repetition and skill work than he did in an entire summer of AAU. I believe that the AAU experience provides him with lots of high level experience and competition, but PGC enables him to refine his craft and clean up bad habits or footwork.
So Welcoming!
It was very good, learned a lot of new things to take back with me. Although it is a basketball camp, they teach you things that apply to all aspects of life. The PGC environment is so welcoming and makes you play harder and better. Also you meet new people that help you become better
Implemented A Ton Of Lessons
I've implemented a ton of lessons I learned through PGC over the last 3 seasons, coaching about 7 teams, especially the idea of positive reinforcement over harping on negatives or just yelling at players. I've change my teams' culture, based, primarily on lessons learned through PGC.
I Wanted to Quit Basketball But Not Anymore...
I went into PGC expecting to stop playing basketball after my freshman year (I’m going into 9th this year but I came out enjoying the game so much more and with a much clearer understanding. I can’t wait to apply everything I learned to games and practice at home.
Gave Us Tools To Take Back To Our Athletes
This course gave us a lot of tools to take back to our athletes both on the court and in life in general to help them be more successful in their next step. I will use a lot of the terminology in my gym and the precision of debriefing, celebrating athletes.
I am most definetly coming back!!!
This was by far the best camp I've ever been to. The dynamics of the coaches and athletes made this camp really special, and I will give it glowing reviews to anyone that asks about it! I am most definetly coming back!!! And I'll be bringing more teammates!
Lou Cheeseman
What makes the PGC camp fun is that everything is made into a game or competition. I definitely learned a lot (push & pull, peek fakes, twist passes, etc.). I also really like the classroom because we get a break and I feel like it helped us learn more.
I always learn so much about basketball but most importantly life.
I always learn so much about basketball but most importantly life. I really liked the emphasis on being a good leader and how to sheep dog teammates. I have already attended this course, but I found myself learning new things in every session.
Gave Me More Advanced Drills
Gave me more advanced drills for my more skilled players and gave me good on-site on how to create a good culture. I like the moves that where taught. Now to install them into practice and have kids work through the struggle will be big
The Classroom Sessions Impacted Me Most
This week was great. I loved how we were put with our team on day two which gave us time to bond and get to know each other. I loved the amount of basketball we played and I believe the classroom session are what we impact me the most.
Varsity Team as a Freshman
My daughter was fortunate & talented enough to get to start on her high school varsity team as a freshman and she will tell you the vast majority of the things that coaches like about her she learned from PGC!!! Thank you so much!!!
Brighton Stolzenberg
I really enjoyed this camp a lot. It helped me become a better player and leader. Everything you taught us was really useful. The coaches were so supportive and helpful and now my dream to play D1 college basketball seems possible.
PGC is a class organization.
This was my third time to attend and as always I'm fortunate to be able to attend such a class organization. I truly appreciate the experience that I receive from it. I owe the majority of my teams success to PGC. Thank y'all
Re-wronte All His Notes
Connor LOVED PGC camp. He took notes and then came home and re-wrote all of his notes and read them to us each day and showed us examples. He's only 11 and he learned things that will last him a lifetime, on and off the court!
Learn On and Off the Court
This camp was very fun and I not only learned on the court, but in the classroom as well. I think it was nice how we got to learn about the game in both environments and build new relationships with teammates and competitors.
Learned Teaching Techniques
I was able to see how efficiently a coach(es) can manage the energy and attention of a group of players. I also learned teaching techniques, network with other coaches across the country, see great drills and practices.
This was my sixth PGC course.
This is my sixth PGC course. I still continue to bring STUFF back home to my own teaching. I love the enthusiasm Pgc staff brings and it continually motivates me to be a better person as well as a coach. Love it!!!
Very Inisghtful for All of Us

Basketball was awesome, dorms not so much
Dorms weren’t great but the basketball was awesome
Sore and Tired
Overall my experience and PGC was pretty good. I had a lot of fun with meeting new people and playing and learning the game. The only downside was that I was always sore and tired throughout the week.
One of the Best Weeks of Her Life!
It was one of the best weeks of her life, the informaton in skills are very useful for helping her on the court and in life. We appreciate the well-rounded teachings that apply to basketball and beyond.
Coming Back Next Year...Even If It's The Same Session!
I am defiently going to come back next year to PGC whether it’s a different session or this one because the impact it had on my basketball and personal life was amazing and only in a good way.
I Am a Believer in PGC
I am a believer in PGC. Each summer we got back a more fundamentally sound, quicker reacting & smarter player. I couldn't come to Dallas but have no reason not to think the same thing this year
This Class Enhanced My Abilities As A Coach
I look forward to utilizing drills and material from the class room with my team back home. I believe this class enhanced my abilities as a coach. I'm blessed to have attended this camp.
PGC is always a transformational
Game-changing. Well worth the time and resources used to be a part of this. I have found a roadmap to success with PGC and I plan to use it going forward for my players and family.
Classroom and Court is Perfectly Balanced
PGC does such a fantastic job! This is Jack's 2nd camp. The classroom and court time balance is perfect. The simple to use and game ready training you are giving is outstanding.
PGC has changed who I am.
PGC changed my life, it changed who I was, how I played. It was the one thing I was always missing, as a person and as a player. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It was incredible.
There Aren't Enough Words or Time
There isn't enough time to explain the experience that we all took in this week.. Its impossible to explain the atmosphere that was brought. It was something we will never forget.
Worth Every Penny
