Today’s Monday Mindset: Let Passion Prevail
So we’re here on Keith Island in British Columbia.
I’ll show you the view. It’s pretty spectacular.
We were so blessed. Some family friends of ours invited us to come spend several days with them and they brought in a caterer.
It’s been unbelievable. The meals have been out of this world. It turned out this cater was self-taught. He never went to school to learn how to be a chef. He simply figured it out on his own and continues to improvise and create every single day.
What he does is nothing short of remarkable. It’s inspired work. And passion prevails.
I said to him, “How is it you create these absolutely exquisite meals and dishes for us?”
And he said, “I just love it. I go into my garden, I find some fresh things. And then I come up with ideas and I make these meals.”
This is a reminder to me the value of doing inspired work.
And if you’re not inspired by something yourself, then find somebody else who inspires you and come alongside them, join them in their inspired work.
As most of you know, I’m so passionate about PGC Basketball. That’s my inspired work.
I challenge you to find your inspired work, to throw yourself into it because passion prevails.
Check out the end of this video for a of couple photos of the food Arimo, our amazing chef, prepared for us.
That’s your Monday Mindset. Passion Prevails.
